Weekly Photo Challenge: Relic

This week we have a photo challenge set by the WordPress team of ” Relic”.

I was going to post a self portrait but decided to go with another old relic, the Largs Bay Pier in the Adelaide suburb of Semaphore, it dates back to around 1882 and was built to provide harbour facilities for overseas ships visiting the South Australian capital.

These days it’s a popular fishing spot and a place for the kids to explore in amongst the old pylons and seaweed underneath the old jetty.
